Counting down to the big move
Hi everyone, we have been so busy since my last post. There's so much to update you on! So this morning I have made sure to sit down and get my writing cap on and put paw to paper.
The exciting news is that our move date has now been set as the 28th November, so we are all on countdown now with just over 3 weeks to go.
Mum and Dad are working hard on all the preparations for the move. Dad has been doing all the numbers and planning for the pub and as you can see I have been lending him a paw. He has also been busy going on lots of accredited training courses to make sure that the ale at the Nags Head will all be top notch.
Mum has been thinking about Christmas already, not that I mind because I love Christmas! Our first job when we move in will be to decorate the pub and make sure everyone gets that festive feeling when they come to visit us. So we have picked out our decorations and really had fun packing them all away, although mum did insist in wrapping me up in them like a blooming Christmas tree, but i'll let her off because she said I was the cutest thing she'd ever seen.
I've also been lending a paw building the website (as you can see below) very exhausting work i must add. It has taken a long time because Mum has done it all herself. I can't wait to show all you once it's fully launched on the 28th November!
On the website you will be able to find out all about us, the pub and the dog friendly guest rooms. You will be able to see the lovely drinks and offers that we have on each week, live music and of course book your stay in our guest rooms. You will also be able to find out more about Lyme Regis and it's history. Plus some history on the building itself and how we are staying true to it's original purpose as an old Victorian coaching house dating back to 1861, when it catered for Hooman and animal alike.
We have another busy week ahead with thoughts turning to our big move, so lots of packing and planning, especially because my Grandma and Grandad and Boxer dog Dotty are also coming to live with us in Lyme Regis.
Dotty and me will do our best to help by not getting under everyones feet, so happily lots of snoozing is on the cards.
I'm not looking forward to saying goodbye to all my paw pals though and especially my family who are not coming with us. But I will try and be a brave boy and keep a stiff upper jowl.
Speak to you all again soon.
Lots of woof from Boris the pub dog xx
